Today I decide to visit the shops where my creams are being sold. Some feedback is always good. Preferably with some criticism, as it can be used to improve.
In one of those shops a salesman told me that among ISA’s audience, “the conscious cosmetic applier”, many of them are searching in the shop itself on his / her mobile for information about every single ingredient on the etiquette of a cream!
They want to know everything about the ingredients; from the active ingredients till the emulsifiers and preservatives of it and I am feeling sorry for the seller, because you can imagine how long that takes …
He told me that at such a moment he was thinking about those clients “Go and graze some grass man !“ ( I am happy he doesn’t say that out loud)
Hahaha I see the humor in that as I see myself as a grazing goat…everything I eat is green and very natural , not to mention about what I put on my face,also all green and besides I also have to admit I understand his impatience , cause if there is anyone that has no patience as a saleswomen it is me!
Just ask my mother who had a hosiery shop where I sometimes worked … Then I had to help the client to find a pantyhose in a certain skin color, mat, but still a little bit of shine and 20-denier or might they prefer 60-denier and with or without a printon it ? Phew … I already get irritation bumps on my skin just thinking about it again !
I decided to make a flyer, in which I present every creepy word of ISA’s powerful ingredients to define and explain them. Because for examle Phytic Acid sounds pretty creepy, but it is an extract derived from rice and what about Tocopherol wich is a natural vitamin E derived from vegetable fats, but who knows that?
Those typical creepy words from the index of cosmetic jars have always been the ones to me that I did not know the meaning of and because of fearing terribly harmful chemicals, radioactive and red flaky skin causing ingredients, or what about a sick-bed, because that crap is getting into our bloodstream through the skin! … So that distrust(and the not having the knowledge at those days)) let me decide I would rather not buy the cream after all.
Even though I love uncertainty, not knowing what the day brings, go with the flow and so, about what I put on my skin I want to be really really very sure of!
SO: This new flyer about every single ingredient of “Posidonia Day Care by ISA” has been especially made to dispel any suspicion about chemical ingredients for the conscious skin carers among us.

Binding agent. Maltodextrin is derived of rice.
Reduces skin irritation.
Potassium Sorbate is a non-irritating and natural preservative naturally found in the berries of the mountain ash tree. Alternative for Paraben to prevent growth of microorganisms. Potassium Sorbate is effective against fungi, mold and yeast.
Limonene is a fragant from oils of lemon and pine trees.
Strong antioxidant benefits .
Linalool ( no not Lanolin!) is a naturally occurring fragrance substance produced by a wide variety of plants such as mint, cinnamon, citrus fruits, and birch trees.
Used as an aroma-therapeutic tool.

Vandaag besluit ik alle winkels waar mijn cremes liggen te bezoeken. Wat feedback is altijd goed. Het liefst met enige kritiek, daar kan je tenminste wat mee.
Een verkoper verteld me hoe er onder mijn publiek: ‘de bewuste smeerder’, zich velen bevinden die alle ingrediënten op het etiquette van een crème op zijn/haar mobiel staan op te zoeken in de winkel zelf.
Álles willen ze weten, van de actieve ingredienten tot aan de emulgatoren en conserverende middelen die erin zitten en ik heb medelijden met de verkoper, want je kan je voorstellen hoe lang dat duurt…
Ga toch grazen mens, bekend hij me op zo’n moment te denken over zijn klant.
Hahaha ik zie daar de humor van in, omdat ikzelf zoals ik al eerder vertelde, tussen de grazende geiten wollen muts en de glamour chick in zit en daarbij al helemááááál geen geduld heb als verkoopster.
Vraag dat maar aan mijn moeder die een kousen winkel had waar ik soms in werkte…Dan moest ik iemand helpen een panty te vinden in een bepaalde huids kleur, mat ,maar dan toch een heel klein beetje glans en in twintig denier of wilde ze misschien toch liever 60 denier en met of zonder print? Pfff…Ik krijg alweer bulten als ik eraan denk!
Ik besluit een flyer te laten maken, waarin ik elk aanwezig ‘creepy woord ‘ van ISA’s power ingrediënten definieer en uitleg. Want Phytic Acid klinkt toch best creepy, maar is bijvoorbeeld gewoon afkomstig van rijst en wat dacht je van Tocopherol een vitamine E die afkomstig is uit plantaardige vetten,maar wie weet dat nou?
Die ‘creapy woorden’ uit de index van cosmetica potjes zijn vroeger voor mij ook altijd degenen geweest waarvan ik de betekenis niet wist en uit angst voor vreselijk schadelijke chemische, radioactieve en rode huid schilfers veroorzaakende ingredienten , of wat dacht je van een langdurig ziektebed,want die troep komt via de huid toch maar mooi in onze bloedbaan terecht! …kocht ik die creme’s dan voor de zekerheid toch maar niet .
Ook al ben ik gek op onzekerheid, niet weten wat de dag brengt ,go with the flow enzo, over wat ik op mijn huid smeer wil ik graag heel zeker zijn!
DUS: Hier de nieuwe flyer ,om alle wantrouwen over chemische ingrediënten weg te halen voor de bewuste smeerders onder ons. ( Sorry, alleen nog in Engels)
